Privacy Policy — Tempoly
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Tempoly is a practice log that lives on your iPhone. There is no account to create, no server behind it and no internet connection in the app. What you type stays with you.
What is kept on your phone
Your instruments, your repertoire, every practice session with its timings, notes, tempos and how it felt, your goals, reminder times and settings. They sit in Tempoly's own private storage on this iPhone and nowhere else. Nobody at Tempoly can see them, because they never leave the device.
What we gather
Nothing at all. Tempoly has no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no purchases. It does not use the microphone, the camera, your photos, your contacts or your location. The metronome click is synthesised by the app itself while it plays.
Practice reminders
If you add a reminder, Tempoly asks iOS for permission to send notifications, and only at that moment. The reminders are scheduled locally on the phone and fire at the times you picked. Switch them off inside Tempoly, or in iOS Settings, whenever you like.
Exporting your log
"Export CSV" builds a spreadsheet file of your sessions on the phone and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You decide where it goes, or you close the sheet and nothing is sent.
Support and rating
"Contact support" only prepares an email in your own mail app, and nothing is sent until you press send there. "Rate Tempoly" uses the standard iOS review request, which is handled by Apple.
Erasing your data
"Reset all data" in Settings wipes everything Tempoly holds on this iPhone. Deleting the app does the same.
Children
Tempoly gathers no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy is ever revised, the new text will be published on this page with a fresh date.
